A Hairstyle Can Do Wonders For Your First Impression

< back to blog home

The most imperative thing that compliments your features and face cut is your hairstyle. A hairstyle that suits your persona can be highly flattering and define your own unique identity.

Jean Haner, an expert in face reading, says that your hairstyle speaks volumes about your personality apart from your facial features. That is the very reason why females tend to spend a lot of time and money on their hair. Hairstyles are representational of what you think about yourself and are a not-so-subtle way of communicating your self-image to the world.

The first impression is the last impression

Three seconds! Yes, that is more than enough to give way to people’s judgments about you and paint a fairly decent picture about the type of person that you are and it is definitely not just the face that plays the role, but the hairstyle that compliments the face in its entirety. A recent study endorses the fact that it is the hairstyle you have that steals the show, over-shadowing the effect of facial features.

Undoubtedly, we all know how crucial first impressions are, in the presence of different situational factors. A hairstyle can portray you as self-confident and chic or insecure and under-confident on the other hand. That gives you a pretty much, strong reason to hire a personal stylist. If celebrities can create such an aura around themselves, why can’t you give it a try as well?

Change is always desirable

Getting a hair-do along with a makeover, will rejuvenate your spirits and keep you motivated to go on facing life with the same enthusiasm and fervor. It is highly likely that there may be days when you are not in the best of your moods, wanting to get over a break-up or wash away life’s repeated disappointments that come your way, revamping your hairstyle can certainly cheer up your spirits.

Change should be such that it is acceptable and compliments your personality to the maximum. Everyone has their own distinctive style, taste and preferences and one shouldn’t go off limits, trying to mimic someone and then ending up as a fashion disaster. Trust me you will love yourself for the change that you behold in front of you. Change is believed to induce a sense of confidence in you, making you feel better from inside.

Don’t be scared to experiment with your hairstyle

Experimenting with your hairstyle is always a good option every few months. Looking at your same old self in the mirror can be agonizing at times. People often prefer to stick to one hairstyle and not experiment often, the result being a monotonous and uniform look. Put aside your qualm of not pulling off a decent hairstyle, after all how will you know what is going to suit you if you do not experiment with yourself.

It’s completely natural to get too comfortable with a certain hairstyle but to begin with, you can style your hair yourself by either curling or straightening your hair. Special brushes and hair accessories are available that do the needful. Begin with them and then go on to carving out a distinct look for yourself once you gain relevant confidence.

Change your hairstyle, change your look

Who doesn’t like to enhance their outward appearance and flaunt their looks, catching the desired attention? More than that, you do it for your own personal development and self-praise. It is very important to love yourself and it’s always a healthy habit to stay up-to-date with the latest trends. Also, tell yourself repeatedly, that you deserve it. Working mothers and women dominating the corporate landscape get so wrapped up in their own frenzy that they forget to give themselves the attention they truly deserve. You can keep a control on your biological clock and turn it in your favor by flattering yourself in the most economical and elevating manner possible.
