In today’s world, especially for female entrepreneurs, life can constantly pushed and pull you… It can become overwhelming trying to navigate through these things without guidance.
It is much more manageable when we find some inspirational female figures who prove that it can be done, and more importantly, we can successfully do it their own way! Here are a few snazzy entrepreneurial ladies we have found to be particularly special, who are pushing the limits in beauty, finance, and small-business.
Emily Weiss
Though the blogging world has greatly evolved over the last few years, Into the Gloss beauty blogger Emily Weiss has navigated through the changing tech tides with grace. Following her blog’s modern beauty theme, Weiss recently decided to take her blog to the next level and create a full-fledged business! Glossier, a proclaimed beauty brand inspired by women’s real life, was formed in hopes to personalize, simplify and, of course, beautify! Weiss has been concocting this brand for years, researching trends and finding the perfect type of products while working in fashion and blogging on the side. However, after time spent in the industry, she decided to take the leap and turn blogging into a full-time pursuit. As fierce females ourselves, we can definitely respect the courage it takes to make the leap into entrepreneurship – not once, but twice!
Alexa von Tobel
Alexa von Tobel’s background is undeniably impressive: former Morgan Stanley trader, Harvard business school attendant (and later drop-out!), and New York Times bestseller. However, the most impressive aspect of all of it is her central goal to make financial information accessible to women and in turn, help them become financially fearless. von Tobel’s company LearnVest has been recognized by the likes of Forbes, The Wall Street Journal, and Fortune.
Erica Nicole
Named by Entrepreneur as one of the “Top Female Entrepreneurs to Watch in 2015,” Erica Nicole is becoming a pivotal player within today’s start-up and business world. Her magazine, YFS, which stands for Young, Fabulous, and Self-Employed, is bringing together all things good for those of us who are looking to expand our network and small-business. Nicole hopes to help women mobilize their pursuits and find respectable mentor figures in the industry to provide unique perspectives on routine challenges and opportunities for growth.
