Refresh your women’s history knowledge with this short video produced by Whirled!

This video highlights famous female innovators, and the success they achieved in their fields. It features six women, ranging from one woman who was born to slaves but would eventually become a millionaire and who’s “actions to support female entrepreneurship paved the way for the rise of the successful black American females of today,” to a ten year old girl who has “offset 1.5 million pounds of carbon dioxide and counting” with her Turn Grease Into Fuel program.

These #FierceWomen took risks as they persevered to work past their failures, and to use their insight and collaborative skills to harness their audacity to innovate.
