Kayla Taylor

Kayla Nichole Taylor is Miss Black Teen Sacramento 2014. She is a recent graduate of Pleasant Grove High School in Elk Grove, CA. Kayla is a member of The Future Farmers of America (FFA). She has competed on the Veterinary Science and Farm Records FFA Judging teams. She was also a member of Pleasant Grove High School’s Friendship Club; a group who ate lunch with the students that have special needs and helped to create a sense of community among the students. She also has been a stage manager for several theater productions, and an actress in numerous others. Kayla will be attending San Francisco State University in the fall. She is majoring in Broadcast Journalism and is currently working to get her writing out to the world. Her hobbies include writing, watching documentaries, and discovering new music genres to explore. Kayla loves to spread positive energy, incredible artwork, and important ideas that feminism has given to her.
