Ways I Want to be Braver (and How You Can Too)
I am a junior in college, and I’ve been thinking about what I’m going to do after graduation. I realized that in the year and a half I have before going out into the world and using the skills and education I’ve been taught, I want to accomplish certain goals. I want to be more brave and enjoy this next part of my life- and live in the moment a bit instead of always focusing on the future.
These goals or ways to show bravery are things that will help me be happier and enjoy life a bit more. Some are little things, like try a new outfit or makeup look, while others are more of a timely goal-such as making lasting relationships with people.
My wardrobe: I have always wanted to mix patterns but never have because I’m not sure how to do it. I want to try floral and stripes!

My makeup: I never wear eyeshadow, I want to learn and get better at applying it so I can wear it everyday.

My skin: Go make-up free to an important occasion and feel just as confident as when I wear makeup.

Fitness: Use weights when I go to the gym and try an exercise class

Health: Eat a high protein, no carb diet for a week

Education: Get more involved in networking to build connections

Business: Take steps to start my business – learning about the industry.

Lifestyle: Travel to another country (Europe is 1st on my list!)

Relationships:  Be open to meeting people outside my comfort zone and forming new relationships- whether that be romantic, friendship or professional that could positively impact my life.

Femspiration: Be happy with my life where it’s at and have a positive outlook that my future is bright! To quote Kate Spade New York;

‘Live Colorfully’

My point is this – if you aren’t being challenged everyday, then something needs to change. Fierce women are smart, strong, successful and know how to go after and get what they want. We are complex and beautiful people, and we push ourselves to grow and become better in all aspects of our lives because we have high expectations of ourselves.
Below are some of my goals to be more brave- one of which I’ve accomplished- wearing a new outfit.
How are you going to be more brave in your life?
