The Joy of Fall Fashion

The Joy of Fall Fashion
As a personal stylist, it’s my mission to find the clothes that really suit you.  By clothes that suit you, I mean a fit-and-flare dress that flatters a figure eight silhouette or a boatneck collar that puts the emphasis on a straight figure and strong shoulders. My whole purposes is to locate a sapphire pendant that makes the blue of your eyes intense and noteworthy and draws attention to you as you lead a meeting.  Clothes should make you feel unstoppable, serve your intentions and goals, satisfy your deepest wish and call forth your beautiful appearance.

With that said, Fall Fashion for me isn’t about the latest clothes on the runway.  Fall is about making new choices from the latest offerings and finding which ones bring me, and you, joy when we get dressed. It’s the beginning of a new season and the opportunity to express my latest intentions and that essential part of me that’s always within, no matter what’s on the runway.

Go ahead this Fall and choose only the styles that bring you personal joy.  You deserve it!  Does plaid make you feel all-back-to-school and excited? Try it out in a way that calls attention to your big green eyes by choosing a pattern with purple tones. Are you way into the wide-legged pant because it skims over your hips and falls in a clean, elongating line?  Try that trend out and make it flatter your small waist and lovely shoulders by pairing the pants with a clean, fitted white shirt.  Does fur make you feel like Cruella Deville? Then, by all means, skip it!  But if you feel cozy and cuddly in it, then try out a colored stole draped over your shoulder for a fun effect.  Or, reminisce regarding your favorite decade.  You can add reminders of your best days from the Seventies by wearing an ethnic printed full skirt or you can remember the 80’s with a pair of padded shoulders.

Click on the link below for inspiration from the Runway to Real World Pinterest board for Fall 2015.  It takes the latest and most fashionable Runway looks and shows how they can be worn by all in a Real World way.

As you view the pics, ask yourself which trend speaks your truth, or reminds you of your favorite memory or makes you feel joy?  I wish you well for Fall 2015 and all the pleasure that an empowered and personalized outfit can bring your way!
